more than on-the-field and game knowledge. Leadership skills, business acu-
men, and the ability to get the most out of a team, are essential to success.”
The program is ideal for students seeking to enter athletic administration
(educationally-based sport organizations), athletic coaching, or managerial
positions within any sport organization. It’s also a great choice for rising and
mid-career sport industry professionals who are seeking to advance their
skills in the areas of leadership, decision-making, revenue development,
marketing, legal and compliance aspects, communications, and related
